Just like in your personal space, it's possible to create custom variables for your whole team to use. These can be very useful when creating documents or templates, allowing you to include a flexible term in there that works like any other variable. A custom team variable will appear in any project you work on that falls under your team, and everyone in your team can see and use it.

Creating team variables

And done! Your custom variable is now created!

You can use this variable when creating templates and documents within your team, just like you would use any other variable. When creating copy, you can find your variable among all the others in the list on the right.

Note: does your custom variable not appear right away? Make sure you added it to the team you're currently working on. If that's the case, try refreshing the page. Your custom variable should now appear.

Managing team variables

Want to manage your team variables? Simply go to the Variables tab to see all variables your team has. From here, you can view, edit and delete variables using the Actions button next to them.
